'Seventh Son' Availability

Spokane Library system has 1 downtown, 2 at Shadle and 1 at Hillyard plus 3 mp3 CD's. County has 6 in various locations including Medical Lake and Spokane Valley. I tried downloading another version on my computer but all I got was the intro and the first few lines of the book. I am still techno-challenged in several areas but, hey, I can program my VCR still! (haha)

Michelle here. There's also a boatload of $1.00 plus shipping copies over at ABE Books. http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?an=orson+scott+card&sts=t&tn=seventh+son&x=0&y=0

I'm jealous that I can't be there for the discussion of this book. :) I'm sure you guys will dig it.

Also! Jeff, I wouldn't feel like a techno-fool. It's possible you downloaded a teaser copy of the audio book. They wanted to hook you with the first chapter so you'd pay for the rest. Seventh Son is still protected by copyright of course, so I don't think you'll find a free version of the audio book anywhere other than the library. I checked some unsavory corners of the interwebs for an illegal version of it, but came up with goose eggs. I'm sure Joe has already checked Audible.com, and it is there, but of course you have to pony up the cash for it.
